ONE’S CONNECTION: Concept One Accessories, extending its streak of licensing deals, will produce a line of soft accessories for French Connection, the contemporary lifestyle brand.

The collection will debut for fall 2024 and include men’s and women’s cold-weather accessories, fashion headwear and other items to appeal to the fashion-forward consumer, according to executives involved in the deal.

“For over 50 years, French Connection has designed quality, versatile items that live a new life in their customers wardrobes over and over again,” Sam Hafif, chief executive officer of Concept One, said in a statement. “The brand has been a pioneer in the industry, long before fast-fashion retailers like Zara and Topshop were on the scene.” Hafif said the accessories will have a “distinct point of view.”

Concept One in the last several couple of years has been busy, most recently partnering up with Tommy Bahama this year, and previously signing deals with Fubu, New Balance, Brooks Brothers, Smoke Rise, Fred Segal and others. The New York-based Concept designs and produces licensed cold-weather accessories, handbags, backpacks and luggage, and also has offices in Mexico and China along with a partnership in Canada and a London design studio.

“French Connection has long celebrated individualism and self-expression as core values of our community. Our customer is intentional about their personal style and has fun with the finishing details. Concept One’s commitment to product, creativity and excellence will ensure a high-quality collection,” Carolyn Glynos, president of French Connection USA, said in a statement.

French Connection, founded in 1972, offers classic styles with a contemporary twist, including apparel, footwear, home, handbags and luggage. French Connection operates its own stores and also wholesales to department and specialty stores.
