Hunter Schafer attended the Thursday premiere of “Cuckoo” as part of the SXSW 2024 Conference and Festivals held at the Paramount Theatre in Austin. The actress wore a leather look from Prada‘s fall 2007 ready-to-wear collection.
Schafer donned an oversize suit jacket and knee-length pencil skirt. Her outfit was accessorized with a pair of legwarmers, giving it a retro touch. She wore a pair of brown pointed-toe pumps and a knit cap in light gray adorned with a bold green vertical stripe.
On the runway, the same look was finished with a pair of muted patent leather ballet flats and a small clutch bag. The rest of the brand’s fall 2007 ready-to-wear collection made use of similar silhouettes, showing several two-piece sets in colorful knit, leather and three-dimensional textiles.
Schafer kept her long, blond tresses hanging in loose waves over her shoulders and added dimension to her makeup look with a small cat-eye.
Schafer has previously appeared in similar looks that use designer archives, bold silhouettes and eye-catching colorways. When Schafer attended the “Cuckoo” world premiere on Feb. 16 in Berlin, she chose a look from Maison Margiela’s spring 2024 couture collection crafted from a sculptural high-waisted skirt and slouchy gray off-the-shoulder sweater.
“Cuckoo” is a horror film starring Schafer, Dan Stevens, and Jessica Henwick. It will be released in theaters on May 3.
