Coco Rocha attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner 2024 at The Washington Hilton on Saturday in Washington, D.C., donning a petal pink gown from Christian Siriano‘s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection.
The model’s floor-length gown was constructed entirely from a finely woven tulle, giving the partially sheer garment an airy feel. Additionally, Rocha’s dress was designed with multiple sculptural elements including an exaggerated peplum waistline and extended capelette neckline.
For makeup, the star tossed her long dark tresses into a low bun with a few curly tendrils spilling out in front of her face. Rocha’s makeup was done using dark ember tones, emulating the pink color of the dress in a slightly darker hue.
The remainder of Siriano’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear presentation included several garments dyed in the same shade of pastel pink, in addition to jet black, stark white, olive green and aquamarine blue. The collection additionally integrated similar textural touches and exaggerated silhouettes like those found in Rocha’s look, with many pieces designed using sheer textiles and large graphic shapes.
Throughout her lengthy career, Rocha has acted as the face of several fashion brands and luxury labels including Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Versace, Lanvin, Calvin Klein and Gap, among others.
The White House Correspondents’ Dinner is an annual event hosted by the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA), which uses the event as its main source of revenue to finance its work. “Saturday Night Live’s” Colin Jost was chosen as this year’s host. Journalists, politicians, government officials and celebrities, including President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden, were invited to the event.
