The recent encounter between Prince William and Taylor Swift in London, where the singer performed a concert from her “The Eras Tour” on Friday, was all over social media. The first in line to the British throne and the singer posed for a selfie with two of his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, backstage. The picture was shared on Swift’s Instagram account on Saturday and has received more than 8.8 million likes since then.
Like other members of his family, William has shared many candid moments with some of the biggest celebrities in the world. In fact, the prince has met Swift before. In 2013, both Swift and William shared the stage with Jon Bon Jovi during a Centrepoint charity event at Kensington Palace, where the trio performed a rendition of “Livin’ on a Prayer.”
Over the years, William has also posed for pictures with Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, LeBron James, Harry Styles and others. Some of the most memorable encounters between celebrities and royals also include John Travolta dancing with Princess Diana at the White House, Prince Harry and Rihanna attending the Golden Anniversary Spectacular Mega Concert in Barbados and more.
