Charli XCX made waves during her July 5 set at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival in a futuristic silver textured minidress and black knee-high boots.

The “Brat” artist opted for a custom creation by New York-based Romanian designer Rafaela Pestritu. The silver dress, characterized by an asymmetrical neckline and straps, featured intricate layers of frilly material that draped across the bodice. The ruched waist and the strands of material in various shimmering black and gray hues hanging from the skirt gave the dress a Y2K feel.

She paired the layered minidress with shiny black knee-high boots by Miista and completed the look with sweater arm pieces by Vaquera NYC.

This isn’t the first time Charli has sported this look from Rafaela Pestritu. On June 12 she wore the same outfit performing in New York City.

The “Girl, So Confusing” singer often opts for avant-garde outfits featuring asymmetrical designs. In May 2023, she paired a plunging velvet bodysuit and velvet skirt with a thigh-high slit from Mugler’s fall 2024 collection for the ASCAP Pop Music Awards. She also sat front row at the Balenciaga fall 2024 couture show in a collared A-line black dress, pairing it with black boots.
