Kelsea Ballerini made an elegant arrival at the Variety and Golden Globes party celebrating the 2023 Venice Film Festival on Thursday in Venice, Italy. The singer wore Saint Laurent to attend the event with her boyfriend, actor Chase Stokes, who received the Breakthrough Actor Award for his work on Netflix’s “Outer Banks.”
Ballerini wore a plunging gown with a scarf from Saint Laurent’s pre-fall 2023 collection. The country singer was dressed in the strapless number by her stylist Molly Dickson, whose clients include Cami Mendes, Sydney Sweeney and Kathryn Newton.
The “Miss Me More” singer often opts for glamorous ensembles while attending high-profile events. To the screening of her short film “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat” on Aug. 10 in New York City, Ballerini wore a purple Versace minidress with a keyhole cutout. In April, to the premiere of Broadway musical “Shucked,” she donned a Saint Laurent cocktail dress with a gathered skirt and large chest cutout.
Ballerini released her latest EP of the same name as her short film in February. She is also set to make her debut performance at the Video Music Awards on Sept. 12. Her appearance at the event falls on the day of her 30th birthday.
The Variety and Golden Globes party was an invite-only event that commemorated the 2023 Venice Film Festival, amplifying Italian films and talent. Along with Stokes, other recipients who received awards were Alice Diop, Pablo Larrain, Jack Huston and Lukas Gage.
