Sidney Garber’s Brooke Garber Neidich is a big fan of Manolo Blahnik. “The Susa sandal is my summer staple,” she said when asked what her go-to style is for the warmer months. And while she has them in multiple colors, she’s still on the hunt for a pair in silver.
“I’ve worn and loved Manolo Blahnik’s shoes for as long as I can remember,” the Sidney Garber founder and creative director said. “I’ve always been drawn to their femininity, originality, comfort, and grace — qualities shared by Sidney Garber jewelry.”
The feeling is mutual, with Manolo Blahnik president of the Americas Andrew Wright teaming with Neidich for a two-day pop-up trunk show curation of shoes and Garber’s jewelry at the Manolo Blahnik boutique at 52 Main Street in East Hampton, N.Y.
“There is such a great synergy between Manolo Blahnik and Sidney Garber,” Neidich explained, adding that Colleen Caslin, president of Sidney Garber, also has a personal friendship with the shoemaker. “We both believe in design constants, of modern interpretations of classic shapes. We both marry comfort with style. Excellence in craftsmanship is core to our identity. And we both make pieces that endure.

“We are delighted to cohost this special event with Brooke and the team from Sidney Garber. With an innate sense of beauty, style and elegance, Sidney Garber is the perfect choice to join us in toasting the very best of timeless summer style,” Wright said.
Guests can expect to find “the pieces that I wear constantly in the summer,” Neidich said, listing her icons: rolling bracelets, domed cuffs, stacking bracelets and chevalier rings. “I’ve just re-created some of our classics by adding white enamel to them, which immediately makes them look fresh and summery. I made sure to include our pearl hoops in the mix because the pearls are so beautiful against the face, like mini candlelight. Adding small pearls to a hoop makes them a bit more casual than single pearl earrings,” she said.
Another piece she deems “perfect for the Hamptons” — her new scribble bracelet, based on her scribble ring. “The same is true of our rolling bracelet,” she added. “All you have to do is pop them on and dash out the door, ready to go. That means more time at the beach.”
The two brands will host an event on Thursday, kicking off the special two-day pop-up.
