Hailey Bieber attended WWD x Footwear News x Beauty Inc’s Women in Power event on Thursday in New York City, wearing a preppy Saint Laurent ensemble with an ’80s-inspired silhouette. Bieber wore a beige, brown and black tweed oversize blazer and a coordinating midi skirt with a front slit. Styled by Karla Welch, the star paired her outfit with a leather tank top and slingbacks.
Bieber is the founder and chairwoman of beauty brand Rhode. Launched in 2022, the skin care line has includes a Peptide Lip Treatment, a Glazing Milk, a Barrier Restore Cream and more.
“As women, we can use our power to champion each other, which is why I created the Rhode Futures Foundation. It was incredibly important to me to bring this to life at the same time as my brand, Rhode, to use my platform to uplift and invest in solutions that position women to direct their own futures,” Bieber told WWD in September.
To promote Rhode Beauty’s latest product, the Strawberry Glaze flavor of the Peptide Lip Treatment, Bieber embraced a slew of bold red looks that leaned into the strawberry girl trend. The limited-edition flavor of the lip treatment sold out quickly and was done in collaboration with Krispy Kreme, inspired by the donut chain’s strawberry-glazed doughnut.
The 2023 WWD x Footwear News x Beauty Inc Women in Power event, at the Rainbow Room in New York, honored women across multiple industries, featuring panels and conversations. Along with Bieber, June Ambrose, Alix Earle and Scarlett Johansson also attended.
