The U.S. Open, Starting Aug. 26

Each August, the U.S. Open propels us from the end of summer and into New York Fashion Week. And after the release of “Challengers” earlier this year, tennis has never been hotter among the fashion crowd. We’ll be looking to see if reigning U.S. Open champion Coco Gauff can defend her title, and what fresh faces the tournament will serve up. We’ll also be cheering on two-time U.S. Open champion Naomi Osaka as well as American men’s contenders including Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz.

‘Sleep No More’ Producers Open New Immersive Theater Show

While “Sleep No More” continues to extend its final closing date at the The McKittrick Hotel, the immersive theater torch has already been passed to “Life and Trust.” The new large-scale production is set within Conwell Tower on Wall Street, and audiences are introduced to the show’s Faustian storyline from the eve of the 1929 stock market crash. While wearing provided masks, which create a sense of collective anonymity, audiences are free to navigate the multifloor set, following various characters as their story lines intersect over the course of several hours. The show will officially open on Thursday, with performance dates currently available through mid-September.
