Wrangler is expanding its relationship with country star and former rodeo cowboy Cody Johnson.

The singer has been an ambassador for the brand for several years and now he is partnering with the company to create a line of Western-inspired shirts under the Wrangler x Cody Johnson name. Johnson teased the launch of the collection at CMA Fest in Nashville in June.

“Cody has been with the brand for many years. He wears Wrangler day in and day out. With his authentic background in ranching and rodeo, partnering with him on this classic shirt collection was the natural next step,” said Allen Montgomery, vice president and general manager of Wrangler Western. “His signature style and genuine connection to the Western lifestyle makes this collection stand out in a market where we’re already receiving a lot of buzz and excitement.”

Johnson, whose nickname is CoJo, worked closely on the design of the collection, selecting fabrics, patterns and functionality in concert with the Wrangler team. The shirts feature a classic, tailored fit, mitered cuffs, hidden button-down collars, signature CoJo details like cuff embroidery, logoed buttons and grosgrain neck ribbon.

“These shirts are designed to make you feel like a cowboy and look like a million bucks,” Johnson said. “I put a lot of time and heart into every detail and trusted Wrangler to help build something authentically Western and effortlessly stylish.”

The shirts will retail for $59.99 on the Wrangler website as well as at select retailers nationwide. The collection will be expanded in fall 2025 to include jeans and snap shirts.

The Texas-born singer rode bulls professionally at local rodeos before pursuing a career in country music. Johnson signed to Warner Music Nashville in 2018 after releasing six independent albums over the course of a decade and becoming a star on the Texas music scene. He has since released two albums on Warner Music, “Ain’t Nothin’ to It” in January 2019 and “Human: The Double Album” in October 2021. His hit single, “Til You Can’t,” received the single of the year award from the Country Music Association in 2022.

In addition to Johnson, Wrangler sponsors a number of country music artists including Lainey Wilson, Jon Pardi and George Strait, whose collection with Wrangler launched more than two decades ago.
