Simone Biles is one of the most celebrated athletes of the 21st century. A four-time Olympic gold medalist and recipient of more than 20 World Championship gold medals, the gymnast rose to fame during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Since then, Biles has continued to compete on the Olympic stage at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and soon in the 2024 Paris Olympics. With a career in the spotlight that spans almost a decade, Biles has gone through an entire evolution before the public’s eye.

But Biles isn’t only known for her athletic prowess. Following the athlete’s rise to fame, Biles embraced several business ventures. Last June, the seven-time Olympic medalist kicked off a two-year partnership as the new face of haircare brand K18. In 2021, Biles signed a long-term partnership deal with Athleta. At 27, Biles’ business career is only just beginning.

2014

In 2014, Biles gravitated toward pieces that were still on-trend for the mid-2010s. While attending the Women’s Sports Foundation’s 35th annual Salute to Women in Sports awards, Biles fashioned this blue dress with bold white stripes on the skirt and a chunky black belt. She paired the dress with gladiator-style sandals and accessorized with a floral statement necklace.

2016

In 2016, Biles began to play with sparkles and embellishments for more formal red carpet events. At the Sherri Hill fashion show in New York City, Biles wore this glittering white dress with a bevy of sparkles and some sheer detailing on the bodice as well. She paired the dress with metallic sandal heels and favored stud earrings.

2017

By 2017, the newly minted Olympic gold medalist was hitting the red carpets of such major events as the Golden Globe Awards. For the event, Biles fashioned this sleeveless gown with a cinched waist, V-neckline and glittering embellishments on the bodice.

2020

Biles ushered in a comfortable style approach in 2020. The Olympian fashioned a color-blocked sweater with a pair of indigo jeans and a set of boots for a visit to the Lower Eastside Girls Club in New York City.

2021

Biles revamped her red carpet attire in 2021 while attending the InStyle Awards. For the occasion, the wore a sleek gown with a thigh-high slit and cutouts. She paired the dress with a strappy green sandal heels as well.

2024

Biles elevated her red carpet attire for the premiere of her Netflix documentary “Simone Biles Rising: Part 2” in October 2024. The athlete opted for a strapless look, wearing a flowing dress by Galia Lahav for the red carpet event. The bodice of the dress was encrusted in bright colors and a floral pattern. The black skirt of Biles’ dress featured semi-sheer fabric and flowed out into an elegant, long train.
