Blue Ivy Carter coordinated with her mother Beyoncé at the world premiere of “Mufasa: The Lion King” on Monday in Los Angeles. The pop star’s eldest child makes her film debut in the Disney sequel, voicing Simba and Nala’s daughter Kiara.
Carter wore a custom strapless ballgown by Christian Siriano, which featured a sweetheart neckline and a draped bodice. Wearing her ombre brunette tresses in braids with loose curls, her makeup consisted of gold eyeshadow, rosy blush and a glossy red lip.

“Blue you look like a goddess and we loved making this for you,” the designer wrote on Instagram.
Beyoncé added to the social media fanfare, saying she and her family “could not be prouder” of Carter.
“My gorgeous baby girl,” the “Cowboy Carter” artist gushed. “This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara…Keep shining.”
Beyoncé also went strapless at the premiere, wearing a Balmain gown from the label’s collaboration with “The Lion King,” which debuted earlier this year in honor of the original film’s thirtieth anniversary.
Even Carter’s grandmother Tina Knowles was in attendance, pairing a black pantsuit with leather gloves, gold bangles and a statement Schiaparelli belt.
Earlier this year, Carter made a surprise appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she was dressed by British designer Vivienne Westwood. It was her first time at the ceremony since 2018, though she’s already won a Grammy for her contributions to Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl,” which won Best Music Video in 2021.
