There were plenty of looks to behold at the 47th annual Kennedy Center Honors. While the event unfolded earlier this month on Dec. 8, tonight brings the broadcast, which will air on CBS from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. ET (8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. PT) and be streamed on Paramount+ live and on-demand.
This year’s ceremony portraits featured a dazzling array of metallic looks, which continue to trend this year, after dominating the red carpet at the CMA Awards 2024 and the Emmy Awards 2024. Take a look below, at some of the standout ensembles from this year’s Kennedy Center Honors.

Brandi Carlile suited up for the occasion. The singer-songwriter wore a black suit outlined with red trim, pairing it with a red blouse and matching ascot.
The War and Treaty
The War and Treaty’s Tanya Trotter also put forth a take on the metallic trend, wearing a beaded sleeveless gold dress and pairing it with pointed toe heels.
Doug E. Fresh
Doug E. Fresh put a brocade spin on the metallic trend, wearing a gold tuxedo jacket. He completed his look with a pair of wire-frame gold sunglasses.
Kofi B
Kofi B also opted for a brocade jacket, wearing one with a metallic-outlined floral print and pairing it with a silk shirt and glittering music notes pin.
Since its inception in 1978, the Kennedy Center presents honors to prestigious figures in the performing arts, spanning across music, dance, theater, opera, motion pictures and television in recognition of their contributions to American culture. This year’s honorees include director Francis Ford Coppola, the Grateful Dead members, jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt and the historic Apollo Theater.
