Jennifer Lopez was glowing at the CAA Oscars pre-party on Friday night. The actress and music star arrived in a gold gown.
For the occasion, Lopez opted to wear Tom Ford‘s metallic knit maxi dress that features a mock turtleneck and open back. Lopez paired the woven gown with sparkling jewelry by Suzanne Kalan, including the gold baguette milli eternity band and the classic diamond shield ring. She completed her look with a crystal-striped gold clutch and gold sandal heels.
Gold is a color favored by Lopez when it comes to red carpet dressing. Last November, for the Los Angeles premiere of “Wicked,” she sparkled on the red carpet in an ornate gold cutout gown by Zuhair Murad from the label’s spring 2024 couture collection that consisted of detailed sequined embroidery. Lopez paired it with jeweled cuff bracelets by Sabyasachi, a metallic box clutch and gold open-toe heels. Her look was curated by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, who also work with Hailee Steinfeld, Gwen Stefani and Lindsay Lohan.
Lopez has embraced the metallic trend throughout her career, including at last year’s Met Gala where she dazzled in a custom Schiaparelli couture dress that was created by Daniel Roseberry and featured more than 2,500,000 silver foil bugles and beads. She paired the sculptural gown, which took 800 hours to complete all of the hand embroidery, with satin platform sandals, gold clutch, a diamond necklace and diamond earrings.
