“By mixing fashion with the arts and culture in the center of a city, and by raising funds for a cause, Vogue World has become a runway show-as-rallying cry, a way to fix the attention of a huge global audience, to bring awareness, and sound an unmistakable note of positivity, creativity, and hope.”

When was the first Vogue World event?

Vogue World held its inaugural event in 2022 with a fashion show and street fair to reinvigorate New York Fashion Week following the global COVID-19 pandemic. The success of the 2022 event was followed by 2023’s iteration in London, which featured an evening at the theater benefiting the city’s performing arts scene after government budget cuts.

In June 2024, Vogue World staged an opening ceremony of fashion in Paris’ Place Vendôme, featuring more than 500 models, athletes and performers including Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Serena Williams, Bad Bunny and more.

What organization will the Vogue World: Hollywood event support?

One hundred percent of the proceeds raised during Vogue World: Hollywood will go to the Entertainment Community Fund, emphasizing supporting members of the costuming community impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.

“It’s an honor to collaborate with Vogue World Hollywood to help professionals in the costume community, especially those who have been impacted by the recent Southern California wildfires,” said Annette Bening, the board chair of the Entertainment Community Fund.

“At the Fund, we know the road to recovery is a long one; and with this generosity from Vogue and October’s event, we can remain a source of steady support for those in need.”
