Christina Aguilera made a stunning arrival on Monday’s taping of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” putting an edgy spin on fall dressing in a fitted black ensemble that was reminiscent of her 2010 album “Bionic.”
Aguilera wore a long-sleeve top with draped detail along with a pair of sleek pant-like leggings. Dressed by stylist Chris Horan, she accessorized her look with a few layered necklaces and Saint Laurent Opyum open-toe pumps in suede and rhinestones.
“Bionic” was Aguilera’s sixth studio album, with the promo art showcasing the singer wearing a slew of leather-like outfits that aligned with a futuristic burlesque theme. Many fans on social media pointed out the similarities between Aguilera’s latest look on the talk show and her 2010 album look.
While on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Aguilera talked about her love of Halloween, pranking her fiancé, Matthew Rutler, and her upcoming Las Vegas residency.
Kimmel also asked if she would make an appearance in Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir “The Woman in Me.” “Dude, I don’t know. I’m hoping that everything is all good with her and everything’s beautiful. I think the future should be celebrated,” the singer said about the memoir, which will be released on Tuesday.
When it comes to her looks, Aguilera often opts for maximalist edgy outfits. She arrived at the night-show taping on Monday wearing a Dion Lee biker jacket and Diesel miniskirt, which featured a graphic image of red lips printed across the front.
Aguilera’s 10-concert Las Vegas residency, starting in December, will be held at Voltaire Belle de Nuit’s new Venetian Resort.
