The Living Beauty Cancer Foundation raised about $745,000 on Friday at its annual luncheon, as it marks its 20th anniversary.
Founder Amie Satchu opened her home in Beverly Hills once again for the occasion, which helps advance the organization’s mission of providing supportive services to women with cancer.
Satchu, a model and the creator of vintage jewelry company Maison Mèrenor, launched the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation in 2005 after her late mother was diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
“She was really the nucleus of the organization,” Satchu said of her mother in 2023. “And it really grew out of her need and longing for quality of life along the emotionally exhausting cancer journey.”

Each year the organization collaborates with a different brand — past partners have included Valentino, Tom Ford, Lanvin, Stella McCartney and Bottega Veneta — with a portion of sales donated to the cause. This year, German luxury e-commerce company Mytheresa joined as a supporter and offered a style suite, where guests explored a selection from spring and summer collections.
The event brought out Tracy Robbins, Christine Chiu, Jason Bolden and Rachel Zoe, who presented model, actress and activist Amber Valletta with the foundation’s Ambassador of Light Award. Valletta was recognized for her commitment to sustainability and using her voice for environmental and human causes.
The Living Beauty Cancer Foundation has been helping women from its hub in Pasadena, Calif., with free services in wellness, education, therapy and emergency financial aid. The organization has recently expanded, Satchu revealed at the luncheon, to make support more accessible to those in need with an online resource, Community Platform.
