LONDON — Kate Moss has joined forces with Primal Scream singer Bobbie Gillespie on her second Zara collection. This capsule marks Gillespie’s menswear design debut — but the foray isn’t too much of a surprise, given that stylist Katy England, who codesigned both collections with Moss, is his wife.
For the capsule’s womenswear, England and Moss dove into their enviable clothing archives for inspiration, redesigning beloved pieces like go-go boots, fringed bikinis and silk cream suits perfect for summertime.
“Nothing matches the feeling of finding a one-off piece,” Moss said. “Just wow. The piece that only you own.”

Gillespie’s menswear, all super skinny jeans, silky button downs, and cool jackets, brings an edgy bent to the collection.
“Because it’s spring/summer and festival season, I suppose, I expected it to be more about wafty dresses,” Moss said. “But it’s a bit tougher than that. That’s because all the masculine energy was coming in from Bobby doing his collection at the same time.”
Gillespie added that “These are things you can’t get anywhere else. Getting great tailoring like this that is accessible is important. Everyone deserves good clothes.”
Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the accompanying campaign sees Moss and Gillespie showing off their boho rocker personas. A series of stills and a short film capture the duo jamming out onstage and twirling around in a far-flung field.
The collection was truly a family affair. England and Gillespie’s son, model Lux Gillespie, stars in look book shots alongside Lila Moss, Kate Moss’ daughter.
