Henry Golding hosted the launch party for Citi’s new Strava Elite credit card at Gitano NYC in the South Street Seaport district on Wednesday evening.

Attendees included a slew of influencers including Isabela Grutman, Kit Keenan, Tayshia Adams, Serena Kerrigan and more. Guests were treated to a menu of cuisine from around the world such as Mexico, Japan, France and Malaysia. Signature cocktails also nodded to the new card’s release and its perks.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure to be working in synergy with Citi,” said Golding at the event. “Little-known fact, but I used to be a travel host for about 10 years before Crazy Rich Asians. Before I was acting, I was in front of the screen — mainly in Southeast Asia — traveling all the way around the world; I used to travel for a living. Now I travel with my two kids — and damn it is expensive. They’re 4 and youngest is coming up on 2. And that’s when you gotta start buying extra tickets. Like I don’t mind if they sit on my lap.”

Brand partners for the new card include 1stDibs, Death & Co. cocktails, American Airlines, Best Buy, Future Personal Training, Blacklane and Live Nation. A claw machine at the party had prizes for guests such as 10,000 air miles to American Airlines, a free month of future personal training, a free Blacklane chauffeur ride, a free hotel stay at The Reserve by Citi Travel and more.

Ellie Goulding also made a surprise musical appearance to close the night out with an acoustic performance of her biggest hits, “Love Me Like You Do” and “Burn.”

“You shouldn’t need a math degree and a spreadsheet to track your credit card benefits! We have curated flexible lifestyle benefits that we know our customers will want to use — because we asked them what they value. And this is the only branded credit card that has American Airlines benefits built right into the card,” said Pam Habner, head of U.S. branded cards and lending at Citi.
