Massimo Bonini is making a deeper commitment to the U.S. market with the opening of a new Madison Avenue showroom.
For decades, the Italian company has been a go-to product development and distribution partner for many of the industry’s top luxury brands — and the American business continues to become more important.
“Opening our new space in Madison Avenue, marks a deeply meaningful milestone in our journey, the culmination of over 30 years of passion, dedication and extraordinary collaborations with brands, designers, and customers,” said co-founders Massimo Bonini and Sabrina Scarpellini Bonini. “This luminous space in the heart of NYC embodies the values that have defined our story: creativity, excellence and connection through beauty and vision. We are immensely proud to have built this legacy, one that now continues with the next generation: our daughter Giorgia leading the company in the U.S., and our son Filippo, carrying the torch in Milan.”
The company first set up shop in the U.S. a decade ago, which paved the way for the company to build strong relationships with both department stores and independents from across the country.

Now, the elegant new space, located at 485 Madison Avenue on the 24th floor, will allow the company to strengthen its presence further with unique indoor and outdoor spaces that provide a fitting showcase for its brands. “We wanted to allow them to create their own worlds,” Giorgia said.
Labels that are showcased in New York include Amina Muaddi, Herbert Levine, Moon Boot, Castaner, Benedetta Bruzziches, Carel and Missoni.
In one of its biggest moves of the year, the company partnered with Paris-based Luvanis to relaunch storied brand Herbert Levine, which was born in New York and is now writing its new chapter under creative director Trevor Houston — who has cemented his place in the New York shoe scene as the designer behind hit shoes for Khaite and The Row.
