Influencer and social media star Hallie Batchelder can now add “designer” to her résumé.

The 27-year-old host of the “Extra Dirty” podcast — best known for sharing her unfiltered, relatable thoughts on dating culture and New York City nightlife — has officially partnered with Garage Clothing, the Gen Z-favored loungewear brand, to launch her own capsule collection. Titled “Perky Plum,” the new line will feature sweatpants, hoodies, tank tops, biker shorts and “baby tees” in a deep mauve hue. This is the brand’s first influencer-led edit of this scale.

“One word to describe this collection: flirtatious,” Batchelder told WWD over a video call on Monday morning. “It’s the whole gist of the collaboration because it’s very cute and chic and flirty, and I would feel comfortable wearing it anywhere.”

Styled with a pair of platform Ugg slippers and black shades, the garments evoke Batchelder’s everyday essentials. Whether it’s on her podcast or in one of her famed “morning after” chats on TikTok, the internet star is often seen wearing loose-fitting loungewear with her signature slicked-back bun. Garage Clothing, in particular, has been a staple in her closet for years.

“I just love how their stuff fits. It’s super cozy. You can wear it to the coffee shop, the airport; you wear it wherever,” Batchelder said. “I’m just someone who loves loungewear in general, and cozy stuff and basics. If I don’t have to be in full glam going out to an event, you’ll probably find me in one of my garage sets, just cozy, dressed down. I’m not the type of person to step out in New York in pumps and heels and all that.”

Titled “Perky Plum,” the line features a variety of loungewear, from sweatpants to “baby tees.”

As for why the collection was named “Perky Plum,” Batchelder said it had everything to do with the Garage Clothing tank tops. According to her, these garments “snatch you in all the right places.” More than that, the collection is a mood booster, inspiring confidence and comfort at once. “The color plum is a great end-of-summer, fall color,” she added. “I thought it fit perfectly, and that color integrates with my podcast. There are some hues of purple in that as well.”

Just like this collaboration with Garage Clothing, Batchelder’s journey to social media star and podcast host was natural, or in her words, “random and sporadic.” She explained: “I graduated college around COVID and got my real estate license. I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, and one of my friends said, ‘You should start posting on TikTok like it’s your private story because your private story is so funny.’ So I started posting random story times and debriefs on my night before, talking about different guys I was seeing, situationships. Through that, it kind of gathered a community where people were like, ‘Oh my god. This is so relatable.’”

In 2024, Alex Cooper, media mogul and host of “Call Her Daddy,” reached out to Batchelder to ask if she’d be interested in starting her own podcast under her creator network, Unwell. “Alex Cooper found me on TikTok. She was like, ‘Would you ever do this in a long-format podcast?’ And I was like, ‘Absolutely.’ So, then, I launched my podcast back in December, and it’s been the best.”
