One of the most anticipated times of the sartorial year (outside of Fashion Month) is quickly coming up, the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. After a six-year hiatus, the event returned triumphantly in 2024 at Brooklyn’s Navy Yard. Since its last show, the lingerie retailer has endeavored to become a brand that truly values diversity and size inclusivity. We saw these efforts displayed as supermodels Ashley Graham, Paloma Elsesser, Valentina Sampaio, and Alex Cosani took their well-deserved places on the VS stage, hopefully leading the way for more strides toward inclusivity from the brand in the future. Other models at the helm of the industry’s current vanguard like Imaan Hammam, Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk, and Alessandria Ambrosio also shared the catwalk in outlandish numbers as global stars Cher, Tyla, and Lisa performed. And of course, original VS Angel Tyra Banks closed out the show with her legendary walk and smize, sporting a silver cape with black lining, a crystal-crusted bustier, sparkly leggings, and heels.
