Sydney Sweeney brought red hot energy in a custom Oscar de la Renta to the Emmy Awards 2025 on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The Emmy-nominated actress, who earned nods for her work in previous seasons on “Euphoria” and “The White Lotus,” wore a strapless dress with a plunging sweetheart neckline, a cinched waist and flowing train for the 2025 Emmys.

The look included a silky satin shawl, which wrapped around Sweeney’s wrists. As for her accessories, Sweeney accessorized her look with jewelry pieces by Lorraine Schwartz, including a statement diamond pendant necklace, earrings and rings.

Her glam featured the “Christy” star’s blond hair with a middle part and quasi-curtain bangs to frame her face. Her makeup was classic and clean. The actress’ look was curated by stylist Molly Dickson, who also works with Sadie Sink and Ariana Greenblatt, among others.

Sweeney’s red hot Oscar de la Renta gown was among a trend of fiery dresses featured at the 2025 Emmys. Along with Sweeney, Selena Gomez, Cristin Milloti and Shabana Azeez wore variations on red dresses.

Gomez styled a sleeveless custom Louis Vuitton gown in a bright red tone with a structural, circular neckline and flowing train. Milioti, nominated for outstanding lead actress in a limited or anthology series or movie in “The Penguin,” wore a deep red custom Danielle Frankel dress with a structured neckline. Azeez, among the breakout stars of the Emmy-nominated series “The Pitt,” wore Marchesa.

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze, take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday. Leading nominees include “Severance” (27 nods), “The Penguin” (24), and both “The White Lotus” and “The Studio” (23 each). The ceremony celebrates outstanding achievements in television, broadcast on CBS and streamed via Paramount+.
