Genesco outfitted nearly 300 elementary school students with new shoes for the holidays at its annual “Cold Feet, Warm Shoes” event in Nashville on Friday.

According to the footwear company, 150 Genesco employees and senior leadership team members gathered at Park Avenue Elementary School to set up a mock shoe store in the school’s gymnasium. At the event, Genesco volunteers fit each student with a new pair of Converse, Vans or Starter shoes, socks and a backpack.

To complete the experience, students had the chance to meet Tennessee Titans’ cheerleaders and mascot, T-Rac, and members of the Nashville Predators Energy Team on the red carpet to show off their new shoes and accessories.
