TIGHT RELATIONS: Could Kim Kardashian have her eye on Ludovic de Saint Sernin, a buzzy Paris designer who knows his way around sexy bra tops and briefs?

Skims, the shapewear brand cofounded by the celebrity and entrepreneur, has held talks with de Saint Sernin about a potential collaboration, according to market sources. The likelihood of a deal and details about the discussion could not immediately be learned.

Contacted by WWD over the weekend, a rep for de Saint Sernin declined all comment.

Brussels-born de Saint Sernin launched his brand in Paris in 2017, quickly earning a reputation for such sensual, gender-fluid designs as eyelet-studded briefs, slinky halter tops and low-slung pants with corset lacing in lieu of a front zipper.

He did a one-off couture collection for Jean Paul Gaultier last January, and more recently he scored back-to-back collaborations with Zara, one for its 50th anniversary celebrations during Paris Fashion Week.

Last month, the Spanish fashion chain released a Ludovic de Saint Sernin x Zara collection of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and accessories, as well as beauty products.

Established in 2019, Skims has racked up a long list of collaborations with a variety of brands, including Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Swarovski, Dolce & Gabbana, The North Face and Nike.

It has also been branching out in apparel and looking more into beauty as it expands its retail footprint and grows internationally. The company recently completed a $225 million capital raise that valued Skims at a cool $5 billion.
