Gwyneth Paltrow joined in on the “Marty Supreme” orange trend while promoting the movie on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” The actress arrived at NBC Studios on Monday wearing a bright orange Lacoste tracksuit with Adidas sneakers.
Paltrow stayed cozy in the sneakers as she arrived at the studio and after the interview in Adidas‘s Jabbar Shoes, which retail for $110. She opted for the shoes in the cloud white, core black, and off-white colorway. The sneaker is available in a high-top and low-top version, but since her wide-leg pants obscured the top of the shoe, it’s unclear which style she opted for.

The shoes are basketball icon Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s signature court shoe. The ’70s-inspired, lace-up sneaker is cut from premium leather and features serrated 3-Stripes on each sidewall and a cushioned, removable insole. The stripes on Paltrow’s pair were black. The style features a leather upper, a textile lining, and a rubber sole.
The actress paired the sneakers with orange silk pants and a matching zip-up jacket from Lacoste’s spring 2026 collection. During the taping of the late-night show, Paltrow slipped out of the sneakers and popped on Christian Louboutin’s Miss Z pumps in stark white patent leather. The high-heel shoes feature an elongated pointed toe and a 120 mm heel, and retail for $995.
Orange has become the film’s signature color after Timothée Chalamet, who stars in the movie, chose it for the film’s marketing, inspired by the way pink was used in the promo for 2023’s “Barbie.”
The orange shade also symbolizes a part of the story in which Marty Reisman uses orange balls for better visibility while playing ping-pong. Chalamet and girlfriend Kylie Jenner leaned into the method-dressing trend, both wearing bright orange to the film’s premiere. The actor was fully committed to the color and also wore an orange pair of Timberland x Chrome Hearts boots. The film hits theaters on Christmas Day.
