Adidas has opened the first U.S.-only soccer-focused flagship store ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup’s kickoff this summer in North America.

The 9,000 square-foot store opened on Thursday at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, N.J. The store cements the destination’s position as a hub for sports, culture and entertainment.

Adidas’ new store includes an immersive, soccer-driven retail experience that showcases the sport’s culture through premium athletic footwear, performance apparel and exclusive collections. Soccer enthusiasts can also find performance gear and Adidas Originals as well.

“As excitement around the World Cup continues to grow, American Dream is proud to welcome Adidas and a store concept that celebrates the global passion for soccer,” Adam Petrick, American Dream’s chief marketing officer, said. “This opening reinforces our commitment to bringing iconic brands and culturally relevant experiences to our guests, especially as the world turns its attention to the global game.”A
