Veronica Beard is teaming up with New York City-based artist Pauline de Roussy de Sales on a limited-edition collection for summer 2026. Featuring the artist’s vibrant, narrative-driven works, the capsule captures the art of “summering” through four exclusive vignettes, inspired by vacation destinations: the beach, the pool, the mountains and the lake.
Hand-painted by de Roussy de Sales in her New York studio, the vignettes flow from one scene to the next, creating a story that channels the movement and energy of the season.
“What we love most about Pauline’s perspective is how vividly she captures a sense of place and the energy of people experiencing it. Her illustrations beautifully reflect the art of summering — whether that means traveling somewhere new, gathering with friends, or simply embracing a more leisurely pace of life,” said Veronica Swanson Beard, cofounder of Veronica Beard.

“For summer ’26, we transformed Pauline’s illustrations of vacation scenes into limited-edition prints, graphics and embroidery. The result is a capsule of wearable art! This collaboration feels like a natural extension of our vision for summer dressing: effortless, vibrant, and full of personality,” said Veronica Miele Beard, cofounder of Veronica Beard.
“This collaboration with Veronica Beard allows my artwork to move beyond the page and take on a new life through clothing and accessories. The goal was to create something transportive — little snapshots of places, people and moments that evoke a summer state of mind,” said de Roussy de Sales.
The 10-piece capsule includes styles showcasing full-bleed artwork and individual elements throughout, including fisherman, sunbather and cowboy motifs. The Vonette top, Fynnley placket skirt and Beasley pareo are patterned with the complete illustration, while the Carla slub T is offered in three graphic options. The Spruce top and Elijah denim short incorporate custom detailing, while the Paradisa and Solara swimsuits feature artwork drawn from the pool vignette. An exclusive hand-beaded shoulder bag highlights designs inspired by the pool and lake. Each purchase will include a custom canvas pouch featuring either the sunbather or cowgirl illustration.
Prices range from $138 for the Solar top to $528 for the Fynnley placket skirt.
