Tate McRae is the latest star to join the 2023 Billboard Music Awards lineup. The pop songstress will make her debut performance at the coveted award’s show, which already includes a slated lineup consisting of Mariah Carey, David Guetta, Bebe Rexha, Karol G, NewJeans, Peso Pluma, Stray Kids, and Morgan Wallen.

McRae will hit the stage to perform “Greedy,” the leading romance-themed single from her upcoming second studio album “Think Later.” She debuted the music video for the song, which has more than 30 million views, in September, which features her dressed in a sporty outfit in an abandoned ice-skating rink.

Throughout her career, the Canadian singer has earned seven Hot 100 hits, including two in 2023 for the Tiesto’s single “10:35” featuring McRae and “Greedy.” In addition, “Greedy” marks the second top 20 Hot 100 hit of McRae’s career.

“Think Later” will be released on Dec. 8, and McRae’s upcoming world tour will begin in April.

“Writing this whole thing was one of the most stressful, exciting, nerve racking and fun things I’ve ever gone through. For the first time in my life, I lived this year a little less with my head and a little more with my intuition,” the singer said on Instagram.

Before pivoting to music, McRae first hit the scene as a dancer, securing the third place spot in the 2016 season of “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Since 1990, the Billboard Music Awards has seen the publication recognize the top-charting stars in the music industry. The 2023 Billboard Music Awards will stream on bmas.watch.com on Sunday.
