In 1975, the release of the movie “Jaws,” filmed on Martha’s Vineyard, put the small New England resort island on more vacationers’ radar. Long favored for its quaint beaches, small-town feel and eclectic inhabitants, the island has drawn notable names from fashion designers to celebrities and former presidents to its shores.
