Victoria’s Secret is dabbling in the docuseries arena.
The lingerie, clothing and beauty brand will debut “Angels Among Us,” a YouTube docuseries that follows the search for the next Victoria’s Secret Angel, who will walk the runway at the brand’s 2026 fashion show on Oct. 18 in Los Angeles.
The idea and format for the docuseries, which follows models from initial castings and auditions through a runway debut, came directly from Victoria’s Secret consumers.

“We were listening and we were learning last year very intently on what did our consumers, what did our customers, what did our fans want and love about us as a brand,” Elizabeth Preis, chief marketing and customer officer, told WWD.
“That is what helped start the conversation — what if we actually had an opportunity to invite somebody in our community to be part of the runway? That’s how it started,” Preis said.
The docuseries creates a new way for Victoria’s Secret to reach a wide audience, from returning customers to new consumers.
“We are bringing more customers back to the brand, we’re bringing new customers to the brand; the customers who come to the brand are across all ages but we’re very focused on making sure more young customers actually experience and discover the brand more and more than they have in the past,” Preis said.
“Angels Among Us” also feeds consumers’ appetite for a behind-the-scenes look at Victoria’s Secret. “Everyone wants to feel like an insider,” Preis told WWD.
“People loved and connected with that content,” she said, reflecting on social media content showing how the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show wings are made, the models’ getting ready process and insider knowledge of preparations behind the show.
“When you think about it, the docuseries is actually inviting our fans and many people who enjoy the brand already to be part of the behind-the-scenes on the making of the show and the finding of the next Angel.”
“Angels Among Us” debuts Sept. 27 on YouTube.
