Bella Hadid just modeled the transitional wardrobe look that fall lovers have been waiting to bring back: a minidress and knee-high boots.
Fresh off the Chopard Happy Diamonds party at the end of New York Fashion Week on Tuesday, Hadid stepped out in the city on Wednesday in a pair of knee-high boots crafted from dark brown leather. It appeared to be a style from Sergio Rossi, which can be found secondhand, featuring a sharply pointed toe and modest stiletto heel. The zip-up boot is also defined by a buckled strap wrapping around the top of the shaft.
Hadid leaned further into fall with the rest of her look, pairing her Sergio Rossi boots with a bold orange minidress from Oddli. She wore the Los Angeles brand’s 3/4 Sleeve Boat Neck Dress featuring two decorative buttons below the neckline.

Inspired by Jane Birkin and made with a summery breathable organic cotton jersey fabric, the silhouette features a fitted waist and flared skirt. It’s described as “the dress of Jensen’s dreams,” in reference to Oddli cofounder and creative director Jensen Neff.
While the orange hue worn by Hadid seems to no longer be offered directly by the brand, it also comes in a lineup of other colors, including limited-edition options.
The model and ‘Ôrebella founder layered up her look with a beige collared corduroy jacket. In addition to her outwear, accessories helped Hadid really make the boots-and-dress combination her own. Among lots of gold jewelry, the Chopard global ambassador wore a bangle and watch from the accessories brand, while she coordinated the dark leather of her boots with a large brown bag from Staud.
Introducing some tonal accents to complement her orange dress, Hadid also wore burgundy sunglasses with amber-tinted lenses and a red gingham bandana wrapped around her blond hair.
