Willy Chavarria’s latest collection with Adidas Originals is here, and it’s serving up the gritty energy of the 1990s.
According to the Three Stripes, the new collection with Chavarria takes inspiration from vintage sportswear silhouettes, playing with exaggerated proportions and layered styling.
The range this season spans across apparel and footwear, with familiar Adidas heritage silhouettes seen reworked through Chavarria’s design lens that balances athletic references with his fashion point of view.
For the footwear this season, Chavarria continues the partnership’s exploration of the Megaride franchise with three new expressions — the Mega Willy Low sneaker in two colorways, Black and Agave, and the Willy Mega Mid sneaker in Black. Both models are built on the Megaride sole and feature an exaggerated upper and Chavarria branding at the tongue.

As for the apparel, the offering centers on relaxed, oversized silhouettes such as the Chavarria Track Jacket and Track Pant and the Chavarria Dazzle Short and Dazzle LS Jersey accented by the classic three stripes classic detailing in red.
Chavarria’s signature design codes can be found throughout the collection, such as the rose iconography on the Dark Rose Tee, and the Chavarria Chicano Sweatshirt which pays homage to the designer’s Mexican-American heritage through red, white and green accents inspired by the colors of the Mexican flag.
The Adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria Mega Willy Low, which retails for $230, and the Willy Mega Mid, which retails for $280, along with the full apparel collection will be available globally from Oct. 3 at select retailers, on the Confirmed app, Adidas.com/willychavarria and at select retailers worldwide.
This latest collection follows the duo’s June release, which centered around the World Cup. Dubbed “Comienza Con El Sueño,” which translates to “It Starts With a Dream,” the June collection from Chavarria and Adidas delivered a full range of officially accredited Selección Nacional de México World Cup merchandise across footwear, accessories and apparel inspired by Mexico football heritage.
First seen on Chavarria’s autumn/winter 2026 runway in Paris earlier this year, the June drop featured the Willy Mega Low and Megaride AG XL sneaker styles. There was also the Willy Chavarria Megaride Copa, a football-inspired silhouette.
In a preview before his autumn/winter 2026 show in January, Chavarria told FN that he is loving how his partnership with Adidas is evolving.
“I love how the relationship has grown over the seasons,” Chavarria said at the time. “We’re not just doing the smaller collab fashion drops anymore, but we are also working on a lot more commercial things. I expect some of what we are offering in this collection to land in a big-time way. We’re offering more amped up, fashion styles, and more accessible commercial styles — it’s all about expanding the breadth of our collaboration. And to tell you the truth, we offer a wide range for a designer collaboration. And the sell-through has been excellent.”
This latest drop with Adidas follows the release of Chavarria’s debut shoe collaboration with Ugg earlier this month. The collection featured five unisex footwear styles — the Ugg x Willy Chavarria Guard Boot, Biker Boot, Relaxed Boot, Otzo clog and Hotel Chavarria slipper — alongside a collaborative “Hug It” T-shirt and a pair of socks.
