Florence Pugh doubled up on British luxury fashion on Monday night, wearing looks by Erdem and Vivienne Westwood in New York City for the “East of Eden” limited series’ premiere at Paley Center for Media and for her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The Oscar-nominated “Little Women” actress collaborated with stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray on the two looks, both built around a black-and-white color scheme. For her red-carpet premiere look, Pugh wore a selection from Erdem’s resort 2027 collection.
The ethereal dress was crafted in a textural white fabric, with shimmering silver embellishments across the bodice and one strap. The skirt brought plenty of volume with fullness that balanced the fitted bodice.

Silver accessories picked up the dress’ embellishments. Pugh wore a pair of sandal pumps by Aquazzura and earrings by Bulgari, for which the actress serves as a global ambassador alongside Anne Hathaway and Zendaya.
Prior to the New York City premiere of “East of Eden,” Pugh joined host Jimmy Fallon for an episode of “The Tonight Show.” For the appearance, Pugh went dark with a Vivienne Westwood black cocktail dress featuring fabric ruching and a plunging neckline.
The actress elevated the dress with a pair of Isabelle pumps from the late British designer’s label. For accessories, Pugh returned to Bulgari, wearing a choker Tubogas necklace and a set of coordinated gold earrings.
Pugh’s “East of Eden” press tour has already included designer moments from Rodarte to Dior, Chloé and more. But with her Monday night looks, Pugh seemingly played up sartorial symbolism. “East of Eden” is a story about good and evil and whether people are born inherently one way or the other. What better way to evoke that tension than through a black-and-white color palette and two contrasting looks on the same night?
Pugh stars alongside Christopher Abbott and Mike Faist in showrunner Zoe Kazan’s adaptation of John Steinbeck’s novel “East of Eden.” The story follows generations of the Trask family across the 19th and 20th centuries. “East of Eden” arrives Thursday on Netflix.
