After first learning of a brand-new Air Jordan 3 Retro OG “Middle East” style in January, official Nike, Inc. e-commerce product images of the upcoming release have surfaced.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro OG Middle East features a full colorway of Soft Pearl/Mink Brown/Light Orewood Brown/Pomegranate, which is less complex than its description suggests, translating to an off-white leather upper that’s accented with brown and Pomegranate accents.

The style’s unique details are what separates it from a standard Air Jordan 3, with a geometric pattern replacing the elephant print typically found on the model’s toe and heel overlays. The sneaker’s red tongue embroidery includes Arabic script for “23” on the left shoe with a traditional Jumpman on the right, while the logos are seen stamped in reverse just beneath the laces — a first-of-its-kind detail for the Air Jordan 3. Other elements of note include a gum rubber outsole, metallic eyelets, perforated leather at the collar and eyestay and stamped original-style Nike Air branding on the heel.
The upcoming Middle East Air Jordan 3 Retro follows August’s Japan-exclusive Air Jordan 12 Retro Sumo and September’s UK-exclusive Air Jordan 3 Retro London.
Jordan Brand was a hot topic Thursday during Nike, Inc.’s first quarter 2027 earnings call, in which company president and chief executive officer Elliott Hill announced plans to pull back availability of Jordan product, particularly in North America.
“With Jordan Brand footwear, we’re going to get back to leading the scarcity model that we created,” Hill said, adding that Nike would “deliberately reduce the volume and frequency of specific Jordan Retro launches.”
The Air Jordan 3 Retro Middle East is currently expected to be released in December for a retail price of $215 under style code IX6986-047 from select Jordan Brand retailers. It’s likely the style will be available exclusively in the Middle East region, but the specifics have not yet been confirmed.
