Kimora Lee hosted a glamorous, Y2K-inspired affair to celebrate the debut of the first collaboration between True Religion and her brand Baby Phat on Tuesday in Van Nuys, Calif.
The runway show was hosted alongside a Silver Air Private Jet and featured hot pink and pink accents throughout, from the lights to the clothes and the runway. The fashion designer paired a strapless baby pink dress with a pair of black mesh pumps.

She opted for the Saint Laurent Oxalis 110 Mesh Slingbacks in black. The shoes’ uppers are made from a semi-sheer mesh construction that gives a peek-a-boo glimpse at the feet. They feature a leather trim around the vamp, a leather slingback strap and thin leather wrap-around ankle ties, which she neatly tied on the front of her leg.
The shoes feature an elongated pointed toe with a square tip that gives them a more modern and contemporary flair. The shoes stood tall on a stiletto heel measuring 110mm, or 4.3 inches, with a flared, geometric structural base.
The model officially launched Baby Phat in 1999 as a women’s streetwear extension of Phat Farm. Naturally, the new collection targets a new generation, so celebrities like India Love, who wore Christian Louboutin Just Nothing Alta platforms, along with D’Lila Combs and Jessie Combs, who wore Steve Madden Morals Pink Nubuck Pointed-Toe Lace-Up Ankle Boots, sat in the front row during the show. Other stars like Trevor Jackson, Dreezy, Justine Skye and more were also in attendance.
As previously reported, True Religion and Baby Phat teamed up for their first collaboration, putting low-rise denim at the center of a collection fronted by “Love Island USA” personalities Aniya Harvey and Kayda Bosse. The limited-edition collection was unveiled on Oct. 20 and combines True Religion’s signature stitching and denim silhouettes with Baby Phat’s pink accents, crystal embellishments, satin and cat branding.
