Donald Glover and Maya Erskine attended the premiere of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in London on Wednesday, wearing contrasting outfits.
Erskine wore a black Schiaparelli dress with a mermaid silhouette, short sleeves and a round neckline. The black number grabbed attention for its literally shaped keyhole cutout along the center of the bodice. The actress accessorized her ensemble with red-painted nails, gold earrings and loose waves throughout her hair.
Embracing Pantone’s Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz, Glover arrived at the premiere in his own monochrome ensemble from Zegna’s spring 2024 collection. The outfit included a knitted button-down cardigan with a thick collar and matching wide-leg trousers, accessorized by a micro belt of the same shade and brown, suede loafers.
The “Atlanta” star recently wore a Bode suit from the brand’s fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection to the Emmy Awards Monday.
Glover and Erskine play husband and wife on the Prime Video series, which is based on the 2005 movie of the same name that starred Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The comedy-thriller series will focus on spies who get involved in an arranged marriage and work together for an espionage agency, which results in several challenging missions.
In addition to playing the lead, Glover is the executive producer for the series. “Mr & Mrs. Smith” will also feature familiar faces like Sarah Paulson, Michaela Coel and Paul Dano. The series will be available for streaming on Feb. 2.
