Megan Fox made an appearance at the People’s Choice Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. Alongside actor Joe Manganiello, she presented the award for Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of the Year to “Loki.”
Fox donned a white strapless gown featuring a corseted silhouette, sultry slit and delicate draping. She added a punk twist to her look with a black choker and vampy red lip. The actress recently dyed her brunette tresses pink, revealing her new hairstyle at a Grammy Awards viewing party earlier this month.
In November, Fox sat down with WWD to discuss her new poetry book, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous,” as well as parenting her three sons, Noah, Bodhi and Journey, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
“I think because I have sons, it’s very important to me to raise boys who are not like these men that I’ve been with,” she said. “It’s very important for me to raise boys who are able to have a very deep emotional intimacy with their partner.”
Fox also discussed her evolving relationship with fashion after being pigeonholed as a sex symbol. She referenced her character’s style in “Jennifer’s Body” as a major source of inspiration.
“I feel like that’s such a good representation of who I am in general. And before she was turned into a demon and she became this Goth icon, [Jennifer] was this poppy, typical cheerleader, Forever 21 girl. She was that typical girl who then there was this other side to her where she became the sort of demon sorceress. And I am both of those things, and I always have been,” Fox said.
The People’s Choice Awards, which solicit votes from fans and the general public, originated in 1975. The 49th annual ceremony takes place on Feb. 18 at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles. Hosted by “Barbie” star Simu Liu, the award show’s categories span multiple pop culture mediums including music, television, film and sports.
