Alicia Keys appeared on Friday’s episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show” to promote her Broadway musical “Hell’s Kitchen” in a ’90s-inspired look. The “Girl on Fire” singer arrived on the show in a two-piece outfit that used oversize silhouettes to create a vintage street-style aesthetic.
Keys’ blue and orange jersey featured a square-cut silhouette and cropped hemline. The jersey is part of FUBU’s collaboration with the musical “Hell’s Kitchen.” Key also wore a pair of Cargo Over pants from Off-White. The baggy light-washed jeans featured multiple cargo pockets and utilitarian details.
Keys kept her styling casual, using large gold hoop earrings and a pair of Nike x Off-White sneakers in a gray and white colorway to add additional detail. Her long dark tresses were scraped into a slick-back ponytail, and her makeup was kept natural, focusing on glowing skin and rosy cheeks.
“Hell’s Kitchen,” the new Broadway musical with music and lyrics by Keys, features a star-studded cast with actors Shoshana Bean, Brandon Victor Dixon, Kecia Lewis, Chris Lee and Maleah Joi Moon, among others, taking the stage. Directed by four-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greiffollows, “Hell’s Kitchen” follows Ali, a 17-year-old girl searching for freedom, passion and her place in the world.
As for Clarkson‘s look, the talk show host donned Gucci’s GG net skirt with lace trims. Crafted from a black GG net and featuring a detachable underskirt, the garment was pulled from the brand’s 2021 Gucci Aria collection which reimagined typical lingerie silhouettes as unconventional ready-to-wear pieces. The star finished her look with a classic black long-sleeve blouse adorned with a keyhole cutout and small tie detail.
