Angelina Jolie and her second eldest daughter, Zahara Marley Jolie, brought contrasting looks to the red carpet at the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Awards held on Friday in Palm Springs, Calif. Zahara attended the event to show support for her mom, who received the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her portrayal of Maria Callas in Pablo Larraín’s latest film, “Maria.”

Zahara wore a sleeveless white gown with a structured bodice featuring a layered draped design at the neckline and subtle cutouts. The skirt flowed to the floor in a simple A-line silhouette, showcasing a delicate lace overlay that added playful texture to the ensemble. She kept her accessories minimal, styling the look with simple hoop earrings.

Angelina Jolie coordinated in a sleek black halter-neck gown. The dress featured a ruched twist detail at the neckline. The gown extended into a floor-length column silhouette with a slight train. Jolie kept her styling equally refined, accessorizing with stacked black and silver rings and minimal earrings.

The 2025 Palm Springs International Film Awards kicked off the awards season with a star-studded gala co-presented by Silvercrest and IHG Hotels & Resorts. The event, which preceded the upcoming Golden Globes, celebrated excellence in cinema and honored the year’s most outstanding achievements in film. Nicole Kidman, Selena Gomez, Andrew Garfield, Demi Moore, Colman Domingo and more attended the event.

On Sunday, Jolie is also expected to attend the 2025 Golden Globes. She is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role in “Maria.”
