First-look photos of NBC’s special event “Wicked: One Wonderful Night” have been released and feature “Wicked” stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in designer pieces straight from the runways of McQueen, Marni and more with the ideal Ozian effect.
The televised concert, which airs ahead of the film “Wicked: For Good,” featured the cast performing songs from the movie adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical. Grande took the stage and channeled her character Glinda, wearing a silver pleated dress from McQueen’s fall 2005 collection.
Designed with allover pleating, the dress incorporated a feminine style with a full skirt, rounded shoulder with short sleeves and a defined waist for added silhouette definition. The look was not the only one Grande wore, changing into a more subdued ensemble while performing alongside Erivo.
