Audrey Nuna, part of the vocal talent behind Netflix‘s “KPop Demon Hunters” film, showcased an avant-garde take on the snakeskin shoe trend at the GrammyAmazon Music 2026 Lot Party in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Grammy-nominated “Golden” singer wore a complete look from the Mugler spring 2026 collection, which was presented in the fall. The shoes might have been the most arresting aspect of the neutral-toned ensemble, making a major statement with an unconventional silhouette. The exaggerated square toe was the most striking element, adding an edge to the ensemble with an unexpected shape and width. Leaning into hybrid territory, the shoe was a mule style with a high-cut upper, toeing the line between pump and bootie. Additionally, the style was elevated by an angled stiletto heel. The unusual square toe was applied to other shoes in the collection, which marked the first designed by new creative director Miguel Castro Freitas.
Teyana Taylor recently embraced the unique Mugler shoe look with a gray bootie style which she wore as part of a complete spring 2026 Mugler look — and with a Taakk look — on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Nuna’s Mugler outfit also included a color-blocked drop-waist dress featuring a beige high-neck collared bodice in addition to a taupe skirt and puffed long sleeves with touches of gold at the padded shoulders. Matching her shoes, she carried a snakeskin purse as well.
Snakeskin shoes are maintaining their relevance in 2026 after trending in 2025. Angela Bassett is bringing the look into the new year, in addition to Taylor, for example. Moreover, animal print footwear in general is popular, ranging from the reptilian to the big cat variety.
