Beyoncé is teasing the release of her upcoming album in Western style. The singer shared a brand new country-inspired look on her Instagram account on Monday, celebrating four days until the “Act II: Cowboy Carter” release.
For the countdown, Beyoncé wore the Marine Serre Regenerated denim cropped jacket, which features a machine wash finish, a contoured padded bust and the brand’s signature crescent print along the sleeves.
The “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer completed her look with cutout jeans by Y/Project, a white cowboy hat, and a Balenciaga bag with denim patchwork and Pride flag embroidery.
Beyoncé started her country era at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Feb. 4, when she wore a custom Louis Vuitton look inspired by the Americana aesthetic and a Stetson cowboy hat.
On March 20, the singer revealed the album’s cover, on which she is seen wearing a red, white and blue Busted latex ensemble paired with high-heeled boots from Paris Texas.
“This album has been over five years in the making,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram. “It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive.”
Since first teasing her country album in February, Beyoncé has been seen wearing different looks channeling the cowboy core trend. Her influence drove a spike in interest for Stetson cowboy hats.
“We’ve seen a spike in interest in the Shasta, the style she wore to the Grammys, and the response across the social media landscape has been nothing short of amazing,” Tyler Thoreson, Stetson’s vice president of marketing, told WWD.
“Act II: Cowboy Carter” gives continuity to Beyoncé’s “Act I: Renaissance,” which was released in July 2022, and will reportedly feature a cover of Dolly Parton’s 1973 hit “Jolene.” “Cowboy Carter” will be available for streaming on Friday.
