Billie Lourd stepped into a dazzling footwear look courtesy of Christian Louboutin for the Los Angeles premiere of “Smurfs” on Sunday. She wore a crystal-embellished pump to go with her aptly colored blue gown.
Lourd plays Worry Smurf in the film, which also features the voice talent of Rihanna as Smurfette.
For the movie’s premiere, Lourd opted for a beige version of the French luxury brand’s Follies Strass style, which features a mesh upper — “a nod to Christian Louboutin‘s love of transparency,” per the brand — embellished with shining strass concentrated most heavily at the toe and gradually scattered more sparingly beyond. In addition to showcasing the popular transparent shoe trend and eye-catching crystals, the shoes contrast the mesh with a suede heel.

The pumps served as a neutral yet glamorous complement to Lourd’s pale blue halter neck gown featuring a high-low hemline. The garment showcased a tiered design with layered ruffled fabric in a loose silhouette, and a large floral design embellished the dress at the chest. The actress maintained the “Smurfs”-appropriate color scheme with matching icy blue eye shadow.
While Lourd modeled a style showcasing a classic pump silhouette, Christian Louboutin has been leaning into a balletic look lately with its trendy Cassia Lace Up style, a crepe satin heel with a boxy toe and an ankle ribbon strap, which was recently refreshed for a Nudes collection featuring a variety of skin tone-colored hues. The brand has also embraced the popular Western footwear aesthetic by designing custom fringy boots for Beyoncé to wear on her “Cowboy Carter” tour.
