Shimmer and surface detail always spike this time of year, and Blake Lively showed up in New York City on Tuesday looking like she got the holiday memo early.
The actress opted once again for a pair of Christian Louboutin embellished pumps: the Follies Strassita pumps, a 100 mm style that mixes a nude base with sheer mesh panels and scattered silver strass. The pointed-toe silhouette concentrates crystals at the vamp before they thin out across the sides, while the heel comes fully paved in stones above the brand’s red-lacquered sole. The pair retails for $2,125 and adds another embellished entry to Lively’s long history with the French label.
Her outfit came from Tamara Ralph’s fall 2025 couture lineup, specifically Look 8. The “A Simple Favor” actress wore the designer’s gold-and-white check tweed coatdress embroidered throughout with sequins and crystal Xillions. The tweed’s tight grid gives the embellishment an even base, a white napa belt with a gold-tone turn-lock closure added definition to the silhouette. The multi-textured look continued with a mid-calf silk chiffon skirt trimmed in a dense band of ostrich feathers. Her accessories stay within the pale palette, including crystal earrings, several rings and a white manicure.

The outing follows a recent run of statement Louboutins for Lively. In October, she visited Penske Media headquarters in Midtown Manhattan wearing suede Follies Cabo pumps covered in jewel-tone studs and set on a gold 120 mm heel. Earlier in the year, she promoted “Another Simple Favor” in New York in silver Estepic pumps, a spike-covered style with a tapered heel that has also appeared on Cardi B in sandal form at the Super Bowl.
Her 2025 calendar has leaned heavily on embellished pairs from the brand. At Chanel’s Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner in June, she wore pearl- and crystal-trimmed Gelila sandals with a white knit dress and denim jacket, after cycling through Crystal Queen sandals, Me Dolly mules, Pigalle Follies Strass pumps and Lipstrass Botta Alta boots during the film’s press tour.
