Blundstone has landed in Los Angeles.

Located at 3212 W Sunset Blvd., the 1,274-square-foot store in L.A.’s Silverlake neighborhood marks a significant milestone for the brand as part of its strategic U.S retail expansion.

The company noted the opening of its Los Angeles flagship is the first of three new U.S. stores, with additional locations planned for Portland, Ore. and Boulder, Colo. later this year and into early 2026.

Known for its Chelsea boots, the Australian company will showcase its full range of products in its new locations. The space will also feature shelving made from reclaimed wooden bench seating salvaged from a historic stadium, Blundstone noted.

Kate Shevack, who works in marketing for Blundstone U.S., said in a statement that its new Silverlake location in L.A. “marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter” for the 155-year-old company.

“With its outdoorsy, active lifestyle and Silverlake’s reputation as a hub for creatives, this location reflects the spirit of our wearers and the enduring versatility of our boots,” Shevack said.

The new store opening comes just after Blundstone announced its new collaboration with Filson.

The collaboration introduces three co-designed Chelsea boots: the #2534, #2535, and #2536, the Australian footwear brand said in a statement. Each silhouette uses the brand’s new Avalon Gecko TPU sole design for grip and durability, and features premium water-resistant leathers, and incorporates co-branded Comfort Arch Footbed with XRD Technology for comfort.

Blundstone is no stranger to collaborations. In February, the company revealed a tie-up with Comme des Garçon Homme and its creative director Junya Watanabe.
