Boggi Milano, an Italian menswear brand, has signed a lease for a store at 527 Madison Avenue at 54th Street for what will be its first U.S. store.
The brand has secured 8,810 square feet in a boutique office tower in Manhattan’s Plaza District. The corner space will be two levels: 4,506 square feet on the ground floor and 3,905 square feet on the lower level. It was formerly home to Harman Kardon.
Newmark Retail’s chairman Jeffrey Roseman, senior managing director Caleb Petersen and director Drew Weiss represented the landlord, Mitsui Fudosan America, in the lease transaction.
“The amount of interest in the space and the speed of which this lease got done is indicative of the overall vibrancy of the retail market in New York City,” said Roseman. “Boggi Milano will be a fresh and exciting addition to the neighborhood.”
