Camila Cabello added some subtle shine to the cutout trend. The music artist embraced both the recent cutout trend and the plunging neckline trend while at an event for the BAFTA Awards.
Cabello attended the nominees party for tomorrow’s awards show while wearing a beaded gown from Roberto Cavalli that consisted of cutouts at the center and sides. The “Shameless” singer chose a dress from the designer’s spring 2013 collection for the occasion.
Cabello completed her look with a shimmering smokey eye and accessorized with a diamond tennis bracelet and diamond statement rings.

This isn’t the first time Cabello has worn vintage Cavalli. In November of 2023 Cabello arrived at the premiere of Los Angeles premiere of “Trolls Band Together” while wearing a Cavalli dress from the designer’s fall 2004 collection. Cabello opted for a teal velvet halter dress with a floral print.
This weekend was a big one for vintage Cavalli. Last night Miley Cyrus opted to wear an aughts era Cavalli gown which also embraced the cutout trend. The music artist, who performed “Flowers” at “SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert,” walked the red carpet at the event while wearing a leather gown from the designer’s fall 2003 collection — which made a repeat appearance on the runway this past September during the label’s spring 2025 show when designer Fausto Puglisi paid tribute to Cavalli’s archives.
Cutout dresses have been trending in recent months, including at last month’s Grammy Awards, where not only Cyrus but also Olivia Rodrigo, Victoria Monét, Latto, Pei-Tzu Lee, and Coco Jones all put forth takes on the trend. Not to mention, cutout dresses were also rampant at last week’s Critics Choice Awards, where Demi Moore, Kate Hudson, Rachel Brosnahan, Marissa Bode, Stephanie Koenig, Caitriona Balfe, Melanie Zanetti, and Maisy Stella put their own twists on the style.
