Cate Blanchett continued her screening spree, hosting Lanvin’s showing of “Persona” (1966) at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York on Saturday.
The actress wore a cinched coat, black skirt, and pointed toe heels to the event, and was dressed by stylist Elizabeth Stewart. Her hair was styled in a bob, and she sported natural, glowy makeup.
Blanchett is a fixture on the movie screening circuit, attending a showing of “Queer” on Dec. 11 in London. She wore a sequined plaid set courtesy of Ashish, paired with makeup by Mary Greenwell.
In October, the two-time Oscar winner popped on the red carpet of her film “Rumours” wearing a red and white striped skirt suit from Rochas’ resort 2025 collection. Underneath her jacket, Blanchett wore a turquoise button down and paired matching heels.

“Rumours” marked Blanchett’s second project debuting at the 2024 London Film Festival. On Thursday, she attended the red carpet special screening of “Disclaimer,” an Alfonso Cuarón-directed series that she starred in alongside Sacha Baron Cohen and Kevin Kline.
For the occasion, Blanchett opted for a look from Stella McCartney’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The actress wore a black suit with billowing high-waisted trousers and a single-breasted blazer. The look also included a gold dove statement necklace — a reference to the bird motif seen throughout McCartney’s collection, which debuted during Paris Fashion Week last September.
At the Venice Film Festival in August, Blanchett turned the event’s red carpet into her own personal runway. There, she wore a Moschino suit from the Italian luxury fashion house’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection during a photo call for the series “Disclaimer.” She also was spotted in a strapless Armani Privé gown and dazzling Louis Vuitton necklace. Blanchett has been a global ambassador for Louis Vuitton since June 2022, specifically for the brand’s high jewelry pieces.
