Go New York, go New York, go! The stars came out on Thursday morning in lower Manhattan to celebrate the 2026 NBA champions, the New York Knicks, at the first ticker-tape parade honoring the team. The lineup led by captain Jalen Brunson has painted the city orange and blue with an inspiring playoffs season which culminated in breaking a 53-year title drought for the Knicks — and everyone from Mayor Zohran Mamdani to Martha Stewart is happy about it.
Below, FN rounds up celebrities’ shoes and outfits from the championship parade and ceremony.
Alicia Keys closed out the momentous occasion decked out in a custom all-black leather look, courtesy of a collaboration between Pelle Pelle and Daniel’s Leather. The look included straight-leg pants and an embellished cropped jacket paying tribute to the basketball team. She showcased a sharp footwear look with a pair of sleek black stiletto boots with an ultra-pointed toe.

Timothée Chalamet was not only riding the alumni bus along the parade route, but he was on the mic, too. Naturally, he was wearing an orange and blue Chrome Hearts design for the long-awaited celebration — the Los Angeles-based brand is there for him whether he’s at the playoffs or hitting a movie premiere red carpet. For this occasion, he kept it casual with a hoodie featuring the signature colors of his beloved team.
Martha Stewart took a page out of Taylor Swift’s book and wore a version of the now-viral Ts she and her friends wore at the exhilarating game four of the finals. Stewart paired her “In the Knick of Time” top with a white jean jacket and white pants, while on foot she wore Crocs Soho Y-Strap Sandals — leaving her Skechers at home. (She’s an ambassador just like OG Anunoby and he gifted her signed shoes after she posted his sneakers and called them her favorite Skechers). At the parade, Stewart was able to link up with Jalen Brunson’s dad Rick Brunson, an assistant coach for the Knicks, who wore a championship T with Nike Air Max 1 sneakers.
Tracy Morgan kept it classic with a sporty look including a Knicks jersey over a white T, striped Knicks shorts and his Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro PRM “Knicks” sneakers, a shoe he also showcased during the playoffs.
Mariska Hargitay, a truly dedicated fan who ran from her one-woman Broadway show to game four of the finals (where she twinned with Swift in a “Stevie Knicks” shirt), did not miss the parade. She referenced her Broadway show “Every Brilliant Thing” and her beloved team with a shirt reading “Brilliant Thing #1 The Knicks,” paired with wide-leg orange pants. She rounded out her ensemble with Alaïa’s Le Couer heels featuring a cap toe heart shape at the tip of a clear upper.
New York City Mayor Mayor Zohran Mamdani and first lady Rama Duwaji were certainly in the spirit of the occasion. Mamdani switched up his usual suit look with a Knicks jersey under his blazer, and he wore an orange tie too. Duwaji modeled an upcycled design from custom couturier Miss Clare Sullivan which featured three Knicks NBA finals shirts attached to each other.
Duwaji also repped Nike a double-strap version of the brand’s Air Rift style which features a split toe.
Spike Lee — perhaps the first celebrity Knicks fans that comes to mind when contemplating the list — celebrated on the float that also carried Jalen Brunson. He repped Jordan Brand with a shirt reading Nueva York over an orange long sleeve, and maximized his accessories with pieces including an orange and blue beaded necklace and an oversized chain necklace with a huge New York Knicks centerpiece.
